The Plan (4min)

This film is about a man that gives up his job, his life, and his girlfriend to go to Vegas and put all his money on red. I like the line, "No matter what happens, at least it won't be the life that I live now."

Homecoming (4min)

I've been told a few times that it's the story that makes a short film great and not the budget. This film is proof of that. Although definitely not a "feel good" film, it is thought provoking and touches on the not uncommon fantasy of returning to one's estranged home again and making everything alright.

The Eagleman Stag (9min)

This animated short film by Mikey Please is about a man's obsession with the perception of the passing of time. In an article from Creator's Project (Gorgeous Short Film The Eagleman Stag Explores The Relativity Of Time) Please explains that “The film came from this idea that bothered me as long as I can remember.” The result is a film that in my opinion is both strange and very intriguing!

Thought Of You (3min)

This beautiful and unique short film is set to one of my favorite songs, "The World Moves Madly On" by The Weepies so it's not surprise that I loved it. However, the artistic beauty of the animation as well as the underlying meaning of the story made this brief film by Ryan Woodward one of my all time favorites!

Tommy's Hut (4min)

This brief documentary made me appreciate the art behind making things (in this case boxes) out of timber. Simple yet beautiful film!
